Pleasant Holidays, Journese Reduce Deposits for Caribbean and Mexico

Pleasant Holidays and its luxury brand, Journese, have announced lower trip deposit requirements for all Caribbean and Mexico destinations. The new deposits are 75 percent lower, now $50 per person from $200 per person previously. Deposits for all other destinations in their portfolio remain unchanged.

The lower deposits apply to all new Caribbean and Mexico vacation bookings made on or after October 1, 2018 for travel anytime. Deposits for flights, trip protection and other travel components will be collected at time of booking as required by the airlines and other suppliers. The remainder of the booking balance is due 45 days prior to trip departure.

Pleasant Holidays and Journese offer more than 500 hotels and all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico, including Sandals & Beaches Resorts, Excellence Group Luxury Resorts, Playa Hotels & Resorts, AMResorts, Riu Hotels & Resorts and more.

Pleasant Holidays and Journese recommend travel advisors include travel protection coverage with all Caribbean and Mexico vacations to protect their clients’ travel investments from unforeseen issues. Both Pleasant Holidays and Journese offer Protection Plan Plus coverage that automatically includes commission protection coverage for the travel advisor.

Pleasant Holidays and Journese are members of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) and of the United States Tour Operator Association (USTOA) and participate in the $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.
