Posadas Hotels has opened the Caesar Business Hotel in Salvador, the capital city of the Brazilian state of Bahia.
The hotel was constructed through a partnership with Fator Realty, which invested more than $28 million in the property. The opening marks the chain's first hotel in the country's northeastern region and is a major step in Posadas' efforts to roll out more properties in South America.
The hotel is located in the Pituba neighborhood and offers 154 units, including 94 superior rooms, 56 luxury rooms, two junior suites and two special needs rooms. All guest rooms feature air conditioning, cable TV, soundproof walls and security safes. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the entire hotel, including rooms and public areas.
The hotel is only 30 minutes from Salvador International Airport, five minutes from the Convention Center and 20 minutes from the historic downtown district.
The Caesar Business Salvador Bahia has three conference rooms for meetings, conventions and other special events for up to 250 attendees. There are also two small meeting rooms for up to eight people each.
