Possible Disney Park on Costa del Sol

According to published reports, Disney may build an educational theme park near Manilva, Spain. While Disney executives deny plans for a full-scale theme park, saying small projects are planned like summer schools, other local officials close to the negotiations say the goal is to open a Euro Disney-type park in the next four or five years. Disney had originally planned to build a theme park on Costa del Sol in the late 1980s but finally decided on Paris.
