ProExport Colombia Wins First Jim Woodman Award

South and Central America Travel Association (SATA), presented its first Jim Woodman Award to ProExport Colombia during an annual Christmas celebration held on December 14.

This award is given to an outstanding company or organization in the travel industry that most contributes in the promotion of South and Central America.

Woodman, who passed away this year, was the founding editor/publisher of Latin Travel magazine, which is now LatinTravel.com. He was also an expert tour guide, a television documentary host, a successful author and a popular lecturer.

According to SATA, ProExport Colombia is an organization that began its effort to change the perception people had about the country. They started to partner and support tour operators and associations and assist those companies interested or already selling Colombia.
