Punta Cana's Riu Naiboa Full Renovation Completed

The renovations of the all-inclusive Riu Naiboa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic that began in the Fall of 2011 have recently been completed.

Near the entrance to the large complex of RIU Hotels & Resorts, the Riu Naiboa is a short five minute walk down the street to the beach.  The lobby is filled with natural light from skylights and provides comfortable furnishings for guests to sit and enjoy.  Across the lobby, the Cohiba restaurant serves three buffet style meals daily and offers a terrace for outdoor dining.

The large pool is nestled in the gardens and has a walkway to the Buda Bar which serves snacks during the day and turns into the Panama Specialty Steakhouse by night.  Drinks are available at the El Bolero Lounge bar.  The solarium terrace, gym and the Eternal Spa wellness center were also extensively renovated.

The international RIU chain was founded in Mallorca by the Riu family in 1953.  RIU Hotels & Resorts has more than 100 hotels in 16 countries which welcome over 3.2 million guests each year.
