The Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait Hosts Third Concert of Hope for Charity

The third Concert of Hope was recently hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait, under the patronage of H. E. The British Ambassador, Mr Frank Baker O. B. E., in association with The Kuwait Chamber Philharmonia. It was held in the Al Hashemi Ballroom and the feature performer of the night was opera singer, and winner of “Arabs Got Talent”, Abdulrahman Al Mahmeed. Abdulrahman Al Mahmeed sings western, Italian operatic and Kuwaiti songs.

Abdulrahman Al Mahmeed said, “I've participated in concerts in Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Morocco and elsewhere. In Kuwait, I participated in a musical concert in the 360 Mall, which was a tremendous success. I received great feedback from the
public even though I was afraid that people here would not like operatic music. For the charity concert I will sing two or more international operatic pieces.”

The press conference for the Hope Foundation launch included Adulrahman as a guest of honor, along with Arabic and English media figures, and Hope Foundation committee members. According to Ambassador Baker, the event was not all about the music, but also about charity as well. The Diary of Hope was on sale during the event. All of the proceeds went to Kuwait and international charities, including BAACH Bayt Abdullah’s children hospice for terminally ill children. The Hope Foundation received the donations.
