Carlson Hotels Worldwide announced Wednesday that Radisson Resort St. Martin is scheduled to open in the summer of 2008. The property, located at the natural cove of Anse Marcel on the French side of the island, was previously known as L'Habitation de Lonvilliers Resort. Carlson has invested $80 million including extensive renovations and new construction to create a luxurious second flagship Radisson Resort in the Caribbean, complementing the existing world-class Radisson Resort in Aruba. Radisson Resort St. Martin will feature amenities such as Radisson Resorts' Caribbean brand's Larimar Spa and more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space.
