Report: Air China to Begin Nonstop Service Between Beijing and Honolulu in January

air chinaSeveral media outlets are reporting that Air China has announced it will begin new nonstop service between Beijing and Honolulu, Hawaii on January 21. The flight will operate using Airbus A330 aircraft.

Flights will depart Beijing Capital International Airport at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and will arrive at Honolulu International Airport in Hawaii at 6:25 p.m. one day earlier due to the crossing of the international dateline.  Flights from Hawaii to Beijing will depart at 9:55 p.m., also on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and arrive at 5:20, two days later.

Hawaiian Airlines will also operate the route three times per week. It will use Hawaiian’s Airbus A330 aircraft, which seats 294 passengers.
