Report: Emirates to Offer New Flights to South America

Breaking Travel News is reporting that Emirates will offer flights to Buenos Aires, Argentina, beginning January 3.

The flight will help to promote growing interest among Asian capital investors in Argentine industries such as mining, oil and gas production and textiles.

Emirates’ Buenos Aires flight will be a linked service with Rio de Janeiro, Brazil meaning that customers in South America can now travel between the two cities.

Flight EK 247 will leave Dubai daily at 7:05 p.m. and arrive at Rio de Janeiro's Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport at 3:37 a.m. It will depart Rio de Janeiro at 5:23 a.m., arriving at Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza) at 7:30 a.m. From Buenos Aires, EK 248 departs at 9:30 a.m., arriving in Rio de Janeiro at 1:20 p.m. the next day. The aircraft will depart Rio at 3:10 p.m., arriving in Dubai at 10:53 a.m.
