Here's a scary story from the UK: The Mirror is reporting that con artists are setting up fake hotel websites to trick Olympic fans into reserving bogus rooms.
A similar scam bilked customers looking to attend the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast last year, when criminals replicated whole websites to plunder cash from unsuspecting victims.
Nearly 100 suspects have already been arrested, accused of selling fake hotel rooms and tickets.
