Report Offers Details on Hawaii's Hotel Occupancy Rates

The Honolulu Star Advertiser has a fascinating report (courtesy of Hospitality Advisors LLC) about the occupancy rates in Hawaii's hotel rooms.

According to the report, statewide hotel occupancy improved 9.6 percent (to 71.4 percent) in June, but the average daily room rate dropped to $169.68, a 1.5 percent decline from the same time period last year. The report also states that Hawaii's hotel room revenue grew 3.1 percent to $1.21 billion during the first six months of the year.
