Rome Gets New Hilton Garden Inn

Rome got a new Hilton Garden Inn today in the city's Parioli district. The former Claridge Hotel has been renamed the Hilton Garden Inn Rome Claridge, and is located close to the Villa Borghese with its surrounding parklands, and the Via Veneto. The hotel is the fourth property in Hilton’s Rome portfolio, joining the Rome Cavalieri (part of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts), the Hilton Rome Airport and the mid-market Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport.

Hilton Garden Inn Rome Claridge has 93 bedrooms and suites, many of which have private balconies. Hilton Worldwide currently has 20 hotels in Italy that are either open or under development. In addition to the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Rome Claridge, the company is also opening the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort Siena-Chianti and the Hilton Garden Inn in Pistoia, which are expected to join the portfolio in 2013.
