Rosewood Mayakoba Appoints Graeme Davis as New Managing Director

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Graeme Davis as the new managing director of the Rosewood Mayakoba in the Rivera Maya, Mexico. Davis will oversee all resort operations, including the property’s 128 suites, three restaurants, Sense, A Rosewood Spa and the conference center.

“Graeme brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the luxury market to Rosewood Mayakoba and we are pleased to welcome him as a member of the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts team,” said Robert Boulogne, chief operating officer, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “As a proven leader in the hospitality industry, we are confident he will be instrumental to the ongoing success and development of Rosewood Mayakoba, Mexico’s foremost resort destination.”

Graeme Davis commented, “After years of managing operations at the corporate level, I am thrilled to reconnect directly with guests and employees at the property level. This is a great honor, which presents a whole new range of creativity, development and responsibility. I anticipate enormous success at this extraordinary property.”

Davis has nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he spent 11 years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he managed operations at the corporate level across multiple locations. Davis has also held positions at Posadas Mexico, Tishman Hotel Company, Williams Hospitality and Stouffer Hotels.
