Rosewood Mayakoba Names New Spa Director

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts announced Monday the appointment of Sara Jones as spa director of Sense, A Rosewood Spa at Rosewood Mayakoba in the Rivera Maya, Mexico.

In her new role as spa director, Jones will oversee the overall vision of the spa and will be responsible for creating and developing innovative treatments and services for guests, product selection and managing staff members.

In 2008, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts debuted the first Sense, A Rosewood Spa at Rosewood Mayakoba, before launching five additional Sense spas at hotels and resorts in North America and the Caribbean including Sense, A Rosewood Spa at Rosewood Little Dix Bay, The Carlyle, CordeValle, Rosewood Sand Hill and Jumby Bay.

Jones joins Rosewood Hotels & Resorts following her most recent position as director of spas for the Chill Spa brand in Dubai, where she assisted in developing 10 new Chill Spas.
