Saint Lucia Tourism Highlighting Island's Smaller Accommodations

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) has launched “Collection de Pépites,” a marketing program that supports over 400 smaller properties in Saint Lucia, including local B&Bs, boutiques, inns and luxury villas. The initiative aims to guide travelers through the options of staying in a property that may not be as popular as the island’s hotels and resorts. All optons have 35 rooms or fewer.

“Collection de Pépites” can be accessed via the Saint Lucia website, where travelers can find details on the types of accommodation and sort them according to their preference based on location, price and whether they are family friendly. Visitors can click through to book directly on the providers’ site. For commissionable properties, advisors can book with the properties directly. SLTA will also assist properties to set up new links with agents in each market.

All participating properties have been accredited by the SLTA to provide an added layer of reassurance. Ongoing reviews and checks will ensure quality control and safety management.
