Popular local chef D.K. Kodama has unveiled a new restaurant concept at Waikoloa Beach Resort. Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar at Queens’ MarketPlace will be Kodama’s first restaurant on the Big Island.
The new restaurant will highlight a variety of local produce including Kirk Harabara greens and Hamakua mushrooms, as well as serve contemporary sushi and new wave Asian-inspired dishes. Sansei’s at Queens’ MarketPlace will be the largest of the chain’s four restaurants, offering seating for more than 200 guests in the restaurant’s interior and exterior, including a 28-seat private dining area for special events and business meetings. The new restaurant is across from Queens’ MarketPlace’s Coronation Pavilion.
