Santa Fe, N.M. might be located in the Rocky Mountains, but winter isn't all about skiing in Santa Fe. Instead, the destination offers attractions such as restaurants, shops, culture during the winter months. This year, the whole town will celebrate a new event during Santa Fe Winter Fiesta.

From February 18-27, the first annual Fiesta will take place throughout historic Santa Fe. Each day will feature special events, evening parties and savings all over the city. Participants can purchase a Fiesta lanyard for $20 to gain access to participating restaurants, businesses and cultural institutions. Lanyards are currently on sale through www.ticketssantafe.com. Attendees can purchase anything from value-priced artwork, lodging and lift tickets at Ski Santa Fe to meal specials, museum shop discounts and free entrance into many of the nightly Fiesta parties using the the Winter Fiesta lanyard.

Santa Fe Winter Fiesta highlights include: a Fiesta Kick Off on Friday, February 18, during an evening-long Live 505 Bar Crawl with no cover charge for lanyard holders and a variety of specials at participating restaurants and bars; GPS Snowshoe Scavenger Hunts, February 19-21; a Moonlight Cross-Country Ski trip in the amazing Valles Caldera on February 19; a Guided Native American Cultural Tour to Puye Cliffs on February 22; as well as events all along Canyon Road on February 25. The Fiesta ends with three days of art-inspired parties during the 14th Annual ARTfeast, taking place February 25-27. The three-day event includes the Edible Art Tour on February 25, in addition to Fashion Luncheons, Art of Home Tours, a Gentleman's Lunch, an Artists' Champagne Brunch & Auction and other events.
