TourCrafters has a $979 mid-week “Florence and the Heart of Tuscany” program available from April 1 to May 15. The package, which must be booked by April 15, includes round-trip air on Delta from New York, Boston and Chicago; seven nights, a four-day car rental, daily buffet breakfast, hotel service charges and taxes.
Hotels used are Hotel Roma, an18th-century palazzo overlooking the Piazza Santa Maria Novella in Florence and four nights at a B&B, Canonica di Fungaia, which is close to Siena.
The package can be extended to eight nights with different hotels for an additional sum and airfare add-ons are available from Washington ($20), Philadelphia ($99), Charlotte ($65), Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco ($240). Prices are per person.
