Seasonal Service Between New York, Valencia to Resume

ValenciaSome happy news from Europe's beleaguered air travel scene: Next month, Delta Air Lines will resume seasonal service to Valencia on Spain’s Mediterranean coast.

Starting May 28, Delta will offer four nonstop flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from JFK International Airport in New York to Valencia Airport in Manises (VLC). Return flights from Valencia to JFK will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Featuring two-class service aboard Boeing 757-200 ETOPS aircraft, there will be 16 seats in Delta’s Business Elite class and 144 in economy class.

Delta Air Lines’ flight #198 will depart JFK at 4:45 p.m., arriving in Valencia the following morning at 7:10 a.m. The return flight, Delta #199, departs Valencia at 10:20 a.m., arriving back into JFK at 1:10 p.m. the same day. The airline also offers daily nonstop flights to Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona (BCN) from New York and Atlanta (ATL).
