Second Four Seasons Resort Opens in the Maldives

A month and half after the opening of Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, the company announced Wednesday that a second Maldives hotel had opened, the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru. The resort occupies an entire 44-acre island in northern Baa Atoll and the resort's architecture and interior design is influenced by the work of late Sri Lanka architect Geoffrey Bawa. The property has a 2.5-acre spa with 10 treatment pavilions; Blu restaurant, which overlooks a lagoon; and recreational activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing. To celebrate the grand opening, from now through the end of the month, the resort is offering packages with the fourth night free. For more information, visit [www.fourseasons.com].
