Sheraton Waikiki Opens Renovated Convention Center


After three months and $5 million of extensive renovations, the Sheraton Waikiki has opened its 2nd floor Convention Center. The center includes Waikiki’s largest hotel ballroom area, the Hawaii Ballroom. Physical improvements to the 45,000 square-foot indoor meeting include new digital reader displays, signage and lighting, a new energy-efficient kitchen, a full-service business center and a newly built, dedicated office space on the ballroom level. The transformation of Sheraton Waikiki’s convention facilities is part of a nearly $200 million hotel-wide upgrade plan.
