We’re a big fan of the movies, and anything that combines travel and film is sure to get our attention. Waikiki Parc in Hawaii has just drawn the curtain back on a “Dive in Movies” program at their newly renovated rooftop pool. The flicks are screened every Wednesday night for guests, and admission and popcorn are free. You can score a drink poolside, but that will cost you. You can curl up on one of the lounges or even watch the flick as you bob up and down in the pool. Question: will they have the guts to screen Jaws?
Right now, the Parc is offering 25 percent off on stays of three nights or more with rates starting at $161 a night. The promotion is valid through 2009, some blackout dates may apply.
