Sofitel Opens in Chiang Mai in December

Accor is poised to open a boutique Sofitel property in Chiang Mai, Thailand on December 1. The new 74-room hotel will be branded the Sofitel Riverside Chiang Mai in January. The hotel, on the banks of the scenic Ping River, is a five-minute walk from Chiang Mai's noted night bazaar, and is close to a number of historical and cultural attractions. The hotel will have three restaurants, a bar, a spa, a fitness center, a swimming pool and meeting space. When the branding takes effect in January, the property will be the ninth Sofitel in Thailand and the 50th in Asia and the Pacific. Visit [www.accor.com].
