Spice Island Beach Resort Hosts "The Voice" Winner Tessane Chin

Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada recently hosted singing sensation, Tessanne Chin, the newest winner of the popular NBC show, "The Voice." The talented performer and her husband, Michael Cuffe, a Jamaican radio personality, stayed at the five-star boutique hotel from May 30 - June 1 while she was on island to perform at the Naniki Jazz Festival on May 31.

Throughout her stay, Chin updated her followers on her experience in Grenada through her Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages, posting photos of the property and expressing her desire to come back in the future. Chin expressed her gratitude on Instagram stating, "Thanks to Spice Island Beach Resort for taking such great care of us!"

Chin, who is no stranger to the Caribbean having been born in Kingston, Jamaica, is most famous for winning Season 5 of NBC's reality TV singing competition The Voice as part of Adam Levine's team. She has opened for famous acts such as Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight.

The resort, which was just honored with the coveted Six Star Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, recently completed a multi-million dollar series of upgrades and enhancements to the already unparalleled property to ensure the resort remains at the forefront of the luxury tourism market.
