The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico announced Friday it is the recipient of the 2011 AAA Five Diamond Award. The resort’s signature restaurant, Carolina, was also honored with a 2011 AAA Five Diamond Award.
Less than one-half percent (0.5 percent) of more than 31,000 properties and less than one-quarter percent (0.25 percent) of the more than 26,000 restaurants approved by AAA achieve this distinction.
The guidelines for AAA Five Diamond status are stringent, ensuring consumers a truly memorable experience at a AAA Five Diamond establishment.
The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort offers 89 rooms and 31 suites. Accommodations include private outdoor showers and spacious terraces with private Jacuzzis and private pools for suite categories, including a 3,100-square-foot Presidential Suite.
