Starwood Opens Sixth India Property

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. opened its sixth Sheraton property in India - Sheraton Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, as part of the Sheraton's $5 billion global expansion effort.

The new hotel connects via sky bridge to the World Trade Center Bangalore and the Orion Mall and Multiplex. It offers 230 guest rooms and suites, with work desks, custom-designed ergonomic chairs, high-speed internet, LCD flat screen televisions, MP3 docking stations and more. Club Lounge guests will enjoy Club amenities such as complimentary breakfast, afternoon hors d'oeuvres, beverage service, flat screen television, wi-fi, daily newspapers and more.

Sheraton will continue its plans to open three more India hotels in 2012 including Sheraton Chandigarh Hotel, Sheraton Mysore and the Sheraton Visakhapatnam Seaview Resort.
