& Resorts Worldwide, announced plans to expand its portfolio of resorts in Hawaii with the development of its third vacation
ownership resort on Maui. The new beachfront property, scheduled to open in fall 2011, will be located in KaanapaliNorthBeach,
overlooking the Pacific Ocean with views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. The property will have 390 luxury villas
including a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units. It will also be convenient
to shopping and dining in Lahaina.
The resort has been designed to
achieve certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design rating system, the nationally accepted
benchmark for green buildings.
