Starwood Vacation Ownership Announces Plans for Third Maui Resort

Starwood Vacation Ownership, a division of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, announced plans to expand its portfolio of resorts in Hawaii with the development of its third vacation ownership resort on Maui. The new beachfront property, scheduled to open in fall 2011, will be located in KaanapaliNorthBeach, overlooking the Pacific Ocean with views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. The property will have 390 luxury villas including a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units. It will also be convenient to shopping and dining in Lahaina.
