Guests can rent a Polaris Slingshot for a half-day, one-day or two-day period. What is a Polaris Slingshot? It’s a hybrid between a motorcycle and car, with two wheels in the front and one in the back. Weighing only 1700 pounds and boasting a 170 horsepower engine, the vehicle offers power to those who want it and control for those who don’t. The dual-seat, open-air ride provides the perfect opportunities to couples and pairs to experience the Poconos outdoors from a different view.

To rent the Slingshot, drivers must be 25-years of age, have a valid license and be able to operate a manual transmission. Passengers must be 18 or older. A security deposit via credit card and $15 insurance cost must be provided in order to obtain the Slingshot rental.

There’s no limit on miles during the rental time, but it’s asked that drivers stay within Pennsylvania. The tours are not guided, but StockCar Racing Experience does provide suggested routes offering views of natural scenery, historic towns and over 100 lakes at sites like Jim Thorpe, Lake Wallenpaupack, Hickory Run, Francis E. Walter Dam and more.
