The 430-room, all-inclusive Sunset Beach Resort & Spa is ushering in the New Year with a host of renovations. With a special focus on the resort’s restaurants, lounges, public areas, and landscaping, the renovations are valued at $7 million.

The main lobby now includes fresh furnishings, a remodeled front desk with an amber and mosaic tile wall, new lobby bar, guest services area and a photo shop. At the resort’s Beach Inn wing, there is an entirely new lobby accented by custom designed décor and furnishings. The renovation also highlighted the resort’s five restaurants and six bars. The Silk Road Restaurant has been expanded. A completely new Caribbean fusion restaurant, Pimento, features a casual atmosphere. The redesigned Banana Walk Buffet eatery has increased its size and now features outdoor dining pagodas overlooking the sea. La Bella Vita, the resort’s new Italian restaurant, makes it debut at the Beach Inn offering a five course Italian menu and gourmet pizzas accented by indoor and patio dining.
