Tanzania Offers Safari for New Slogan Competition

Love Tanzania? You can now help sell it in more ways than one: The Tanzania Tourist Board has launched the “Slogan for Destination Tanzania Competition,” in which friends of the East African nation can submit a slogan of less than ten words to capture "the true essence of Tanzania."

The competition also invites contestants to vote on submitted entries. The contestant with the most thumbs up for each week will have their Facebook profile picture and slogan pinned on TTB’s Facebook Timeline, and will be recognized on digital outlets as having the “Popular Slogan of the Week.” (The slogan with the most likes will not necessarily be the final winning slogan; however, it will influence the final selection.)

To enter in the competition and submit a slogan or vote on a slogan and for complete terms and conditions, visit www.facebook.com/TanzaniaTouristBoard and click on the “Slogan for Destination Tanzania,” tab or visit www.tanzaniatourism.go.tz. The deadline for submission is June 5. The winner of the competition, selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Tanzania Tourist Board, will be awarded a four day Tanzania safari for two.
