The adult-centric, all-inclusive Temptation Resort & Spa Cancun has announced a multi-million dollar renovation project. The resort will close for renovations September 25, 2016, with reopening scheduled for fall 2017.

Helmed by designer Karim Rashid, the renovated resort will have a seven-story building in a “sensual minimalist” style, with newly redesigned rooms and suites, new guest areas with bright colors, two pools (one quiet, one not), new shows, eight restaurants and five bars.

Each of the redesigned 430 guest rooms and suites will have a terrace or balcony with views of the resort’s gardens or the Caribbean Sea. The eight restaurants will serve more than 15 cuisines, including one aphrodisiac-themed restaurant. The five bars will offer 24-hour premium beverage service. Additionally, the resort will have a spa offering a full array of treatments, as well as a fitness center.

Reservations for the revamped resort will be available starting fall 2016.
