Travel Agent was on site Friday for the Tokyo Fiesta Cultural Extravaganza, an event organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and designed to promote the capital of Japan to New York City, which Vice Governor of Tokyo, Yasuo Sekiya, calls his city's "sister city." The event at Grand Central Terminal kicked off with a 3-D presentation of Tokyo followed by a question-and-answer portion featuring Sekiya, in which he notes Tokyo will be holding several sporting events that are expected to attract a large share of tourism.
