Tourism Australia Campaign is Generating Results

Tourism Australia's latest campaign is generating business as well as buzz, says Michael Londregan, Tourism Australia's vice president, the Americas. He says that more than 82,000 people ("unique visitors" in Internet parlance) visited [www.australia.com] last week for information about Aussie vacations. That weekly volume represents an increase of almost half, he adds. The number of sales leads generated last week also was the highest for Tourism Australia thus far this year; these leads are fielded by a group of wholesale and retail travel agents who qualify for Tourism Australia's cooperative marketing with Qantas Airways. The novel new campaign is tagged "So, Where The Bloody Hell Are You?"
