Tourism Authority of Thailand to Host “Amazing Thailand Experience Forum”

The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) New York and TAT Toronto offices have announced the “Amazing Thailand Experience Forum,” a joint flagship project in collaboration with Air Canada, Thai Smile and several other partners in Thailand.

Scheduled to be held in Bangkok and Khao Lak (Phang Nga), Thailand from February 5-15, 2023, the forum will convene 60 qualified luxury travel advisors from North America with more than 100 Thai suppliers, including luxury hotels, destination management companies and the industry’s top providers. The program will provide attendees with a 360-degree approach to business opportunities, local education, networking, and immersion into Thai culture. Attendees will learn about new products and attractions, besides building relationships with Thai suppliers.

“We’re pleased to create a space for luxury travel advisors to learn about Thailand’s vibrant culture and the latest and greatest tourism product developments within the country. Allowing our Thai suppliers to educate and provide first-hand experiences to passionate industry experts will ensure travel agents are well-versed in the destination—and excited about promoting Amazing Thailand to affluent travelers,” said Santi Sawangcharoen, director of the TAT New York and acting director of the TAT Toronto offices.

The experience includes 10 full days of destination certification training, experiential Thai networking functions, and a showcase with dedicated one-to-one meetings and open engagement times with luxury suppliers throughout the country. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in immersive experiences within the destination, including hands-on regional tours, site inspections and more.
