Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower Panama General Manager Mark Stevenson announced Thursday the appointment of Daniel Bausá Peris as executive chef.
Bausá will oversee all of the hotel’s dining experiences, including its fine dining, grill and tapas restaurants. His culinary vision will be unveiled alongside the hotel mid-2011, marking Trump Hotel Collection’s entry to Latin America.
At the fine dining Tejas Restaurant & Bar, seafood will be the specialty. Its design includes a window that will give guests a glimpse into the workings of the world-class kitchen, with Chef Bausá at the helm.
Or, guests can enjoy a casual bite from the tapas menu at BARcelona Tapas Restaurant & Bar. Pacific Ocean views on the pool deck will be complemented by poolside cuisine at the al fresco Azul Pool Bar & Grill and for vinophiles, Cava 15 Wine Bar will offer small plates to complement the extensive wine selection. Bausá will also be available for special events and weddings held at Trump Ocean Club.
Most recently, Bausá was the executive chef of the AAA Five-Diamond Rosewood Mayakobá in the Riviera Maya.
