American passengers aboard a Silversea Cruise ship were denied entry to Libya in a repeat of actions from fall 2005 that caused Silversea and Oceania Cruises to cancel stops at ports in the North African country, ASTA reports. Several cruise lines and tour companies are once again reconsidering whether to include Libya on future itineraries.
