Vail Resorts Names Debbie Kurtz Director of National Accounts, East Coast

debbie kurtzVail Resorts, Inc. has announced the appointment of Debbie Kurtz as the director of national accounts for the East Coast region. In her new position, Kurtz will assume responsibilities for meetings, groups and incentive sales across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions for Vail Resorts Hospitality and RockResorts.

Kurtz brings extensive travel industry experience to her new role. For the past 18 years she has been based in the New York City area serving in various sales positions for international hoteliers as well as a global airline. Since 2006, she has been promoting meetings, incentives, conventions and events in the hotel industry, primarily as the director of sales.

Throughout her career, Kurtz has served on numerous industry association committees such as the Membership Committee of the Professional Convention Management Association for the Greater New York Chapter and Meeting Professionals International – Westfield Chapter Membership Committee. Kurtz also completed her Certified Meeting Professional designation in 2012.

A northern California native, Kurtz’s passions include travel, skiing, sailing and yoga. She has traveled extensively around the world, covering 41 countries and 45 states in the U.S. When she’s not traveling, she calls Westchester County, New York home, where she resides with her husband Kenneth.
