Vanderpool-Wallace Steps Down as CTO Secretary General/CEO

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) announced Thursday that Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace will be stepping down from his role of CTO secretary general/CEO effective July 7. The news comes just days after the Freeport News, a local paper in the Bahamas, reported that Vanderpool-Wallace was appointed as the new minister of tourism and civil aviation by the Bahamas. Arley Sobers, the CTO’s director of research and information management, will be the interim secretary general/CEO. Vanderpool-Wallace assumed the position of CTO secretary general in 2005.
