Visit Florida Launches First Refer-A-Friend campaign

On September 11, Visit Florida, the state's official source for travel planning, launched its Refer-A-Friend program, which awards a 30GB iPod to the Florida specialist who refers the most agents who successfully complete the Florida specialist certification program. The Florida specialist program is a four-part seminar that requires participants to complete a test based on information found on the Visit Florida consumer web site and in the publications, Florida Vacation Guide, Official Travel Industry Guide and Worth the Drive. This accredited course offers agents four continuing education units with the Travel Institute and certification is valid for two years with the option to renew. The Refer-A-Friend program will run until December 3 and the winner will be notified on December 4. Visit [www.floridaspecialist.org] and [www.visitflorida.com].
