W London Leicester Square Sets Opening Date

Here's a love letter for London: On Valentine's Day 2011, the W London – Leicester Square will open its doors to the public. The hotel is located on the corner of Leicester Square and Wardour Street, close to Soho's shopping and culture.

Cool architectural details: The building is 10 stories high, veiled in translucent glass that changes color according to the time of day, the ambiance of the area or happenings in the hotel or the city. The premiere installation has been commissioned by the architects Jestico + Whiles and produced by lighting artist Jason Bruges.

The hotel will have 192 guest rooms, including 17 suites, three WOW suites and one Extreme WOW suite; an Away Spa; Wyld, a double-height, curved nightclub space with an oversized mirror ball and exclusive cocktail menu; the W Lounge Bar for cocktails and bites, with a twist on traditional English favorites; SWEAT, a state-of-the-art fitness facility fitted with Technogym equipment and featuring rooftop views of Soho and beyond; a modern screening room with seating for 38 and W Studio Spaces, ideal for a cocktail reception, board meeting or dinner.
