Waikiki Hotel Offers 15-Percent Commission

The Ilima, a condo-style hotel in Waikiki, is offering travel agencies 15 percent commission beginning June 1 and continuing indefinitely. The 15 percent commission is applicable to all new direct bookings as of June 1, including bookings of discounted rates and packages. The 17-story, 98-unit hotel is located on a side street near the Ala Wai Canal, with Waikiki Beach two blocks away. Rack rates at the Ilima Hotel for 2007 range from $167 per night for a standard studio to $507 for the three-bedroom penthouse suite.
