Waikiki Hotel Offers New Dining Options

At Outrigger Reef on the Beach, guests can try the new “Sunrise Specialties” at the Ocean House restaurant for breakfast, indulge in an oceanfront buffet lunch at Shore Bird for under $10 and enjoy Kani Ka Pila Grille’s expanded happy hour.
Kani Ka Pila Grille, the casual poolside bar and restaurant, now has an extended happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., with a new menu that includes special prices on all draft beer, tropical drinks and appetizers.

Patrons can cool off with a Kona Fire Rock Ale or Kona Longboard Lager for $3 each, or any tropical drink including the classic Blue Hawaii, Mai-Tai or Lava Flow for just $5 each.

Appetizers start at $4.95 and include seasoned edamame, ginger Buffalo-wings, sashimi with mango-wasabi sauce, crab cakes and more. Kani Ka Pila Grille is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, call 808-924-4990.
Ocean House is now open for breakfast daily from 7 to 11 a.m., with Sunday brunch served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Twelve “Sunrise Specialties” range from blue crab cake Benedict to Belgian waffles and wild berry parfait. Sunday specials include the fire-roasted opah wrap and hibachi-style chicken sandwich.

Shore Bird is offering an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for an new price of $9.95. Served from noon to 3 p.m. everyday, this buffet includes an assortment of fresh fruits and salads, pasta dishes and more. The restaurant also features a number of made-to-order lunch specials, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., including the kalua pig sandwich with guava barbeque sauce, fresh mahi tacos, and coconut shrimp with plum sauce.
