Waikiki Ocean Club Introduces New Motorized Boats for Clients

Waikiki Ocean Club in Hawaii recently unveiled the Aqua Quad, a new motorized boat offering one or two riders the opportunity to cruise the waters of Waikiki on their own, enjoying complete, independent mobility and fun on this safe yet exhilarating water craft.

The arrival of six Aqua Quads this week will give visitors and local residents a watercraft craft experience not offered anywhere else in the state.

Aqua Quads are classified as rigid inflatable boats that measure 11 feet in length and weigh 165 pounds plus the 20 horse power motor. The trimaran or multi-hulled design provides better stability than a jet ski and while not as fast, they are easy to operate and maneuver.

These inflatable water crafts can be used for recreational or commercial purposes with applications as diverse as wave running, fishing and trolling. In addition, they are used for general harbor patrols and rescue.

Waikiki Ocean Club will offer 30-minute sessions for single or tandem riders. The cost is $59 for a single ride or $40 per person for a tandem ride. Drivers must be 16 years or older and riders must be 13 years or older.
