Waldorf Astoria Orlando Hosts Opening Celebration

Last Friday the 497-room Waldorf Astoria Orlando hosted 500 guests for its grand opening celebration. The debut featured the world premiere of Homage by the Orlando Ballet.

Following cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Grand Ballroom, guests were ushered to the Floridian Ballroom for a performance of Homage, a portrayal of earth through dance. The performance was created by Robert Hill, artistic director of the Orlando Ballet.

Guests were treated to dinner prepared by Executive Chef Bernard Fiemeyer and the evening concluded with a fireworks display over Bonnet Creek Island.
