Whistler, Canada Announces Summer Activities

Skiing. Visitors to Whistler, Canada can enjoy many of the town’s special summer activities including  a fundraising dinner for the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation with Bearfoot Bistro on June 28 where guests will experience “SkyHigh,” a 6 course dinner served 436 meters above Fitzsimmons Creek.

Travelers can also enjoy the Table Nineteen Lakeside Eatery with views over Green Lake while dining on sustainable and seasonal local dishes. The Beacon Pub & Eatery, formerly Citta Bistro will provide a new menu and a fresh selection of beer, wine and liquor.

For adventurous visitors, the Whistler Blackcomb Kids Summer Camps boast ski and snowboard camps will focus on freestyle skiing or ski racing. Beginning this summer, Whistler Blackcomb is offering DFX Bike Camps for bikers ages 6-12. The Tough Mudder Whistler is a military style obstacle course which will take place at Whistler Olympic Park in the Callaghan Valley, the site of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
