Windstar Cruises Spends $18 Million on Renovations

Windstar Cruises reveals it's 2013 schedule, including seven entirely new voyages.  

Casablanca & the Canary Islands, Provence & Cote d'Azur, and Footsteps of Faith are available in the Mediterranean. Northern Europe now offers Europe's West Coast Odyssey, Idyllic British Isles, Gaelic Explorers, and Scandinavian Tapestry.  And all three of Windstar's three-ship fleet will offer TransAtlantic Crossings. Prices range from  $1,299 to $3,199 per person.

Guests who book by May 31 will receive an addition five percent savings on back-to-back cruises. Windstar's Foremast Members receive an additional 5 percent discount on all itineraries.

Windstar unveils the complete renovation of the line's three sailing yachts - Wind Star and Wind Spirit, each with a guest capacity of 148, and Wind Surf, welcoming 312 guests. All three yachts feature entirely redesigned staterooms, owner's suites, corridors and public spaces. The Wind Star and Wind Spirit will also introduce a newly designed Veranda, Lounge, Pool Bar, Library, Wind Spa and The Restaurant, while the Wind Surf has seen renovations in The Restaurant, Degrees, Veranda, Compass Rose, Wind Spa, Yacht Club and Pool Bar.
