Exotics Racing School Adds New Supercars

The fleet of cars continues to expand at Exotics Racing School, located 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. In addition to last week’s announcement of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, the original supercar track experience operation has added a brand new Porsche 997 Turbo S and a Mercedes SLS AMG to the line-up, both of which can be driven on a racetrack at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The 2012 Porsche 997 Turbo S is a car that can defy logic and with 530 twin-turbocharged horsepower on the race track, it can rocket from 0-60mph in 2.6s with a top speed of 195mph. It might not be the fastest car at Exotics Racing but the Porsche 997 Turbo S never conceals its nature on track as it provides quite an exciting driving experience. Just as impressive are its capabilities during cornering, aided by its unbelievable all-wheel-drive traction system; the car feels positively glued to the asphalt!

The SLS is the first Mercedes designed in-house by AMG and has been described as a spiritual successor to the 1955 300SL Gullwing. One of the most alluring sports cars of the 21st century, the Mercedes SLS also offers outstanding performance with its AMG 6.2-liter V8 developing 563hp. The new Mercedes SLS AMG joins the large fleet of cars at Exotics Racing and offers distinctive styling, superior driving dynamics and hallmark Mercedes everyday practicality and safety. The radical design as a highly talented dynamic super sports car with its low-slung front-mid engine set well back also feeds through into the proportions as well as the optimized lightweight body concept: for the first time, Mercedes-Benz and AMG are presenting a car with an aluminum chassis and body. Compared with the traditional steel design, this results in a significant weight saving.

“Based on customer feedback and our desire to have the best selection of exotic cars to choose from, these new additions were a natural choice for Exotics Racing” said Owner/Founder Romain Thievin.
