Report: Argentina Sees LGBT Tourism Boom

Argentina's LGBT tourism market is booming, according to an analysis by the Latin Post.

The country has hosted the GNETWORK 360 international gay tourism conference for seven years running, and it has been recognized as a top LGBT nation because its laws guarantee equal treatment and it was the first Latin American country to recognize same-sex marriage.

Top LGBT destinations within Argentina, according to the Latin Post, include Mendoza, Bariloche, Buenos Aires, Salta, Jujuy, Iguazu, Puerto Madryn, San Martin de los Andes, El Calafate, Ushuaia, Rosario and Paraná. Buenos Aires was also a top destination according to a 2012 study published by the UN World Tourism Organization
