Hotel Willamsburg Opens in Brooklyn

Hotel Williamsburg has opened as the first full-service, luxury, boutique hotel in Brooklyn. The property, located one stop from the East Village and just off of the bustling Bedford Avenue, has an outdoor pool, a full-service restaurant with its own signature brew from Brooklyn Brewery and a rooftop lounge with sweeping panoramic city views.

Hotel Williamsburg’s 64 guest rooms and suites are divided between front rooms with views towards Manhattan and rear rooms with views over the swim club. The lobby has an underfoot “waterfall,” which flows through the center of the room, with café tables placed atop.

The lobby bar overlooks the hotel’s sunken dining room, called Pillar & Plough.  The menu, like all of the food in the hotel, will be created by local chef, Andrés Julian Grundy, formerly of Bouley and Boston’s Clio. The outdoor bar and dining area called The Watering Tower overlooks McCarren Park, the East River, and the midtown Manhattan skyline.

Rates start at $295.
