AccorHotels To Open a New Novotel Hotel in Mexico City

AccorHotels announced it will open the Novotel Mexico City Insurgentes hotel in Mexico City's renowned Avenida de los Insurgentes, one of the city’s main roads. Construction will begin during the second half of 2018 and the property is scheduled to open in 2020.

The new hotel will be situated in front of the World Trade Center Mexico City (WTC), one of the most significant business areas in Mexico City, which welcomes approximately four million visitors a year, and hosts more than a thousand national and international events annually, ranging from conventions to seminars and workshops.

The 106-room Novotel Mexico City Insurgentes will be the second Novotel hotel in Mexico City and the third in the country, elevating the group's presence in the region with more than 20 hotels countrywide. The hotel will have a GourmetBar, a contemporary environment where guests can enjoy a drink, grab a bite to eat, or catch up on work at any time of the day. A space where business and leisure travelers can socialize with friends and colleagues, GourmetBar will offer local and international cuisine in a relaxed setting.

The hotel will also house a Meet N Work space, which will be ideal for working or holding meetings. With modular work spaces, travelers who need to work remotely with privacy can perform their tasks in this area. Guests will also have access to light refreshments, computer equipment and Wi-Fi connection on a complimentary basis.

AccorHotels currently has more than 490 Novotel hotels worldwide, located in more than 58 countries. AccorHotels properties in Mexico City include ibis Styles Mexico Zona Rosa, ibis Mexico Alameda and Novotel Mexico City Santa Fe.
